Public education and positve youth development will be the hot topics as Michael Holthouse, founder of Holthouse Foundation for Kids and nonprofit Prepared 4 Life, speaks at 3 p.m. today on “Growing Up in America,” Children at Risk’s weekly radio show on 90.1 KPFT Pacifica in Houston. Holthouse will join host Mandi Sheridan Kimball with Children at Risk and guest co-host Scott Van Beck with Houston’s A+ Challenge.
 
Holthouse will share new developments in the BigTent Conference coming to Houston and discuss how Lemonade Day is teaching a growing number of kids across the nation all about business and life skills.
